Your journey abroad isn't just about moving. It's about becoming.
Coaching is a structured conversation focused on a goal that matters to you. You bring the topic; I help you examine it from different perspectives, challenge what may be keeping you stuck, and create space for new possibilities.
The value of coaching is in what happens between the questions and the decisions.
I won’t tell you what you should do. You are the expert on your life. My role is to help you think more clearly, notice what you may be missing, and make choices with greater intention.
Coaching is a partnership focused on your goal
The Framework for Change
Awareness
Naming the unseen. We illuminate the thoughts and friction shaping your reality.
Insight
Uncovering the 'why'. We decode the patterns and beliefs that drive your decisions.
Mastery
Aligned action. We translate clarity into strategy, making bold choices for you.
Impact
Sustainable change. Transforming choices into an authentic, intentionally built life.
A NOTE ON IDENTITY
Moving abroad changes you. Allow it.
We hold multiple identities throughout our lives. Some become stronger, some become quieter, and some eventually disappear. Our experiences, relationships, environments and choices all shape which parts of us become more prominent at different points in our lives.
They all belong to you. None of them is you.
Moving to another country can make this especially visible. You enter a different culture, build new relationships, work in a different environment and encounter expectations that may be completely different from the ones you grew up with. The way you see yourself starts to change because the world around you has changed.
You may discover that you are more independent than you thought. You may become clearer about what you want from your relationships. You may start questioning expectations you once accepted without much thought. You may develop stronger boundaries, different priorities, or a completely different idea of what a satisfying life looks like.
Some parts of your previous identity may still feel deeply true. Others may become less important. New parts may emerge that you had never needed to explore before.
This is growth.
It is also an opportunity to ask better questions:
Who am I now?
What matters to me now?
What do I want to keep?
What do I want to change?
Coaching creates space to explore those questions. We look at what is driving you, which identities are influencing your decisions, which values are guiding you, and where your current choices reflect the person you are becoming.
Your identity can evolve without you having to erase who you were.
The goal isn't to become someone else. It's to grow into a version of yourself that feels fully yours.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is coaching different from therapy, mentoring or consulting?
Coaching has a different purpose. Therapy may focus on healing and mental health, mentoring draws on the mentor’s experience and advice, and consulting provides expertise or solutions.
Coaching gives you the space to work with your own perspective, knowledge and potential. I am not there to tell you what to do. I am there to help you explore, question, decide and move forward.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before I start?
No. You might know exactly what you want, or you might simply know that something needs to change.
You can bring a question, a decision, a goal, a transition or a feeling that you have outgrown where you are. We can start there and work towards clarity.
What happens in a coaching session?
There is no script that every session follows. We start with what matters to you now and work from there.
Through deep listening and relevant questions, we explore your situation, your goals, your perspective and what you want to create. You have space to think out loud, challenge your own assumptions and arrive at decisions that feel like your own.
